The Gardner-Edgerton Unified School District (Kansas Unified School District 231) is one of the major school districts in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Currently, the district comprises 1 high school, 2 middle schools, and 6 elementary schools. All but one school in the district, an elementary school, is located in Gardner, KS while the elementary school is located in Edgerton, KS.

The Gardner-Edgerton Unified School District is currently under the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Bill Gillhaus.
