Blue Bite (or the "Company") is a mobile marketing solutions provider based in New York utilizing a targeted, location-based approach to reach captive audiences on their personal mobile devices. Blue Bite bridges place based media (digital-out-of-home (DOOH) and traditional OOH) with mobile devices.

Blue Bite was founded in 2007 by childhood friends Thomas Duncan and Mikhail Damiani. Both Thomas and Mikhail graduated from the Stern Business School at New York University and have a long history of successfully working together. Prior to co-founding Blue Bite, Mikhail Damiani worked closely with Daniel Trigub at GCA Savvian, a technology and digital media Investment Bank focused in M&A and Private Capital advisory services in San Francisco, CA. In June 2009 Daniel joined Blue Bite full-time.

Blue Bite's corporate headquarters are located in New York, NY, with offices in San Francisco and a team of engineers based in Barcelona, Spain.

How it Works

Blue Bite employs a combination of Bluetooth, WiFi, WaP, SMS, QR Code, mobile application and NFC technologies to deliver virtually any digital media content including images, videos, audio mp3s, maps, games, applications and coupons to mobile phones, PDAs, laptops, portable gaming systems, and portable music players within targeted geographic locations. Blue Bite's technology platform and ad network model have enabled it to secure hundreds of locations throughout the top DMAs (Designated Market Areas) in the U.S. and in turn, attract numerous national advertising clients. To augment Blue Bite's sales on its network, the Company has also partnered with advertising and media agencies giving them the ability to offer this unique capability to their current and prospective clients. Unlike traditional out-of-home media platforms, Blue Bite's offering and technology provide clients with detailed statistics and an opportunity for advertisers to evaluate the true effectiveness of every ad campaign in real-time. Blue Bite currently has the largest proximity marketing (Bluetooth & WiFi) network in the U.S. with approximately 1,250 locations in the top DMAs, capable of delivering over 30 million on-screen impressions and 300,000 unique mobile downloads per month.
