Eden Eternal, also known as Finding Neverland Online (FNO) (traditional Chinese: 聖境傳說; pinyin: Shèng Jìng Chuánshuō) in Taiwan or (simplified Chinese: 梦之传说; pinyin: Mèng Zhī Chuánshuō) in China and Hong Kong, is a free to play anime styled MMORPG developed by X-legend and published by Aeria Games. The Open Beta was released on 16 June 2011.
Gameplay
The game features 15 different unlockable classes which include:
As you train each class you will be able to level up both your character level as well as your class levels. You begin with Warrior and Magician and must gain both specific character levels as well as class levels to unlock each of the alternative classes. You can switch between any unlocked classes at any time throughout the game, making it very unique that way.
Players in Eden Eternal may also found guilds for 50 gold coins in the city of Aven (the biggest city located on the main continent). Every guild can build their own town containing up to 5 unique buildings which can be upgraded. These towns also contain a guild vault which grows larger as the guild levels up.
The players' clothing depends on their current class, although all classes have different unlockable outfits depending on their class levels (Usually in increments of 10). As well as that, there is a dye system featuring regular and rare exotic dyes. All new players can choose from several different dyes at a Dye Store and obtain random dyes from quests as well. (Random dyes contain 4 colors and one appears at random when used) The dye store does not include rarer colors and you cannot use the "Beginner" dyes after reaching level 15. It also includes a title system based on in-game achievements. Some titles have perks associated with them as long as you have the title set.
In game your character has been found trapped inside of a blue crystal and has no memory of anything that has happened to them before being found. Throughout the game the player's character, also known as "Crystal Child", will try to look for clues about what has happened to them and the recent troubles that have been appearing around populated areas.
Alternative races are yet to be released but have been confirmed to exist.
The game's unofficial mascot is the Grass Mud Horse, (alpaca in the English version), which in game is a popular pet and method of transport which is considered funny because of its similarity in pronunciation to highly offensive Mandarin Chinese profanity.
