SuperKombat World Grand Prix Final was a kickboxing event promoted by SuperKombat which took place on November 19, 2011 at the Böllenfalltorhalle in Darmstadt, Germany.
Background
The SuperKombat World Grand Prix Final was broadcast live in eighty-three countries.
Following the cancellation of the K-1 World Grand Prix 2011 in Nanjing Final 16, Melvin Manhoef became free to compete at the SuperKombat World Grand Prix Final and was scheduled to face Cătălin Moroşanu in the main event. However, Manhoef pulled out of the fight and was replaced by Ben Edwards, who had also been set to fight in the K-1 Grand Prix. Edwards then left the card to compete in the tournament at SuperKombat: Fight Club two days earlier and was replaced by Patrick Liedert.
Erhan Deniz, Sergei Lascenko, Ismael Londt and Pavel Zhuravlev, the winners of the four SuperKombat World Grand Prix events which had taken place throughout 2011, competed at the event to decide the overall champion. Lascenko won, knocking out Londt in the final. Mitsubishi Motors, the main sponsor of the promotion, awarded him with a sport car Lancer Ralliart, beside the prize money (a check for € 50,000).
Alos on the card, Albert Kraus knocked out Alexander Schmitt to win the inaugaral SuperKombat Middleweight Championship.
