Abaca slippers are made from dried abaca plants and leaves, as well as sometimes from dried pineapple plant leaves. Abaca slippers sometimes can be seen in the Muslim region, the Davao region, and in the Mindanao region. Abaca slippers are considered "strong slippers" because they came from the abaca plant.
