Darron G. Gee born (born 3 August 1962) is an English former footballer who is the assistant manager of York City.

Playing career

Managerial and coaching career

Gee started his managerial career with Dunkirk. After Gary Mills departed Tamworth to coach at Coventry City Gee took over as manager in 2002 after "a lot of soul-searching". The same season saw Gee also take his side to the FA Trophy Final at Villa Park, where Tamworth were beaten 2–1 by Burscough on 18 May 2003. He announced in April 2004 that he would resign from his post at Tamworth at the end of the 2003–04 season.

He was appointed assistant manager at Notts County on 10 May to be reunited Mills, and after Mills was sacked on 4 November Gee insisted he still remained as assistant manager.

Gee went on to join Alfreton Town as assistant manager to Mills on 25 May 2005, before being appointed as manager on 26 January 2007 following Mills' return to Tamworth. However, on 30 January, Gee decided to join Mills at Tamworth.

Gee joined York City as assistant manager on 13 October 2010 following Mills' appointment as manager.
