Amir Abedzadeh (Persian: امیر عابدزاده, born 26 April 1993) is an Iranian football goalkeeper who currently plays for Los Angeles Blues in the USL Professional Division.

He is the son of Iranian goalkeeping legend Ahmad Reza Abedzadeh.

Club Career

Junior Years

Abedzadeh is a former member of Persepolis F.C. Youth Academy in 2006–2007, and is trained under his father since he was 7. He moved to United Kingdom in age 15, and went on a trial with Arsenal F.C. Academy. Abedzadeh played 5 matches for Dinamo Dorigo during 2008-2009. He Joined London Tigers F.C. after spending some time in Tottenham Hotspur. He left Tottenham after the club decided to sign an Itallian Goalkeeper, named Mirko Ranieri. He also played for Persian FC in G.E. Roberts Enfield Football Alliance League on April 30th, 2010. While there were rumors about Abedzadeh joining Birmingham City Academy, he returned Iran before immigrating to United States.

International Career

Youth Teams

Abedzadeh was once called up to Iran national under-17 football team's camp in Kish Island, but never invited again.
