Vătava (German: Oberrübendorf, Hungarian: Felsőrépa, Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈfɛlʃøːreːpɒ]) is a commune in Mureş County, Transylvania, Romania comprising 3 villages: Vătava, Râpa de Jos and Dumbrava. It has a population of 2,135: 95% Romanians, 4.7% Roma and 0.3% Hungarians.
