Guan Mucun (Chinese: 关牧村)," is a Chinese mezzo-soprano singer born in 1953 in Henan ,Liaoning, Shenyang.

Life

Guan Mucun loved singing since childhood. She grew up in Tianjin and worked animal husbandry until 1977 when she was admitted to as an actor. In 1987 Mucun graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music. In 1991earned her master degree after being admitted to Nankai.

Guan Mucun found herself studying under Shi Guangnan, and . She found a niche blending Western melodies with traditional Chinese fused to form a unique artistic style.
